Formatting marks are a set of symbols that provide a visual representation of specific formatting in a document.
I'm turning this on so that it is easy for me to edit the document. This works as my indicator when I'm editing my document.
Some of the format are:
Tab characters
Display tab characters as arrows.
Spaces
Display spaces between words as dots.
Paragraph marks
Display the ends of paragraphs with the paragraph symbol.
